# How to migrate from another provider

> Migrate from your current utility data workflow to Nectar with clear mapping, practical steps, and guided support.

<Note>
  This section is based on public product documentation and common implementation patterns as of March 2026.
  Product packaging can vary by contract. Nectar will validate your exact data model during onboarding.
</Note>

If you are moving from another energy or utility data workflow, you do not need to rebuild your process from scratch.
Nectar is designed to map your existing structure into a clean [company](/platform/glossary#company), [site](/platform/glossary#site), [account](/platform/glossary#account), [meter](/platform/glossary#meter), and [usage data](/platform/glossary#usage-data) model quickly.
