Navigate to Data Export and choose Export Usage Data or Export Cost Data to download utility data as a spreadsheet. Both flows use the same wizard; the first step lets you select the export type.

Export types

  • Usage Data — Consumption values (kWh, therms, gallons, etc.) for each meter and billing period. Best for energy audits, sustainability reporting, and internal analysis.
  • Cost Data — Charge amounts and cost breakdowns from processed bills. Best for budget planning, cost allocation, and financial audits.

Configuring your export

The export wizard includes the following steps:

Step 1: Data scope

Filter ByChoose whether dates refer to the meter date (usage period) or the bill date (invoice date)
SitesMulti-select to limit the export to specific sites
Utility TypesMulti-select to include only certain commodities (electricity, gas, water, etc.)
Include Flagged BillsToggle on to include bills that have been flagged with data quality issues

Step 2: Export options

Step 3: Preview & download

The preview panel shows a summary of the data that will be included — row counts, date coverage, and affected sites. Verify your filters, then click Export to generate and download the file.

Live preview

As you adjust the form, the preview panel updates in real time. This lets you verify your filters before downloading.

Exporting

Click Export to generate and download the file. The export also appears in your Export History for future reference.
