Frequently asked questions

You likely do not have company access yet. Ask an organization admin (someone on the Admin team under Settings > Organization) to assign you to at least one company, then refresh your session. If you are new, make sure you accepted your invite with the same email address used to sign in.
This usually means your session expired or did not initialize correctly. Sign out, sign in again, and retry from a fresh browser tab. If it persists, email [email protected] with the URL and timestamp.
First successful collection often finishes within hours, depending on utility portal access, credential validity, and historical availability from the provider. Allow up to about 48 hours before treating the first pull as unusually delayed while the connection is still pending.
Access and visible navigation depend on your role and configuration. Ask an organization admin to confirm your permissions and default company assignment.
Set up sites first, then connections. Site structure helps Nectar map incoming data correctly. Start with Sites overview, then Connections.
Yes. In How to create a connection, the first step lets you search the provider directory or open Custom provider, enter the utility name and website URL, then continue so Nectar can still build an online connection to that portal. You can also use Uploads or Manual entry if you want to supply bills without using the online flow.
Developers should start with For developers, create an API key in Settings > Organization > API Keys, then follow API getting started.
Email [email protected] with your company name, page URL, screenshots, and exact error text. This shortens troubleshooting time significantly.
