Connection method: Email MFA forwarding

Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) uses email-based verification codes when a login is detected from an unfamiliar device. Since Nectar logs in from its own servers, MFA verification is typically triggered.
Check if MFA can be disabled. EWEB may allow you to turn off additional login verification in your account security settings. If possible, this eliminates the need for forwarding.

Setup

1

Start a new connection or reconnect

From Data Input > Connections, click New connection and select EWEB, or click Reconnect on a connection showing MFA Token Expired.
2

Enter your credentials

Provide your EWEB username and password — the same credentials you use at myaccount.eweb.org.
3

Choose MFA forwarding type

  • Managed forwarding (recommended): Nectar provides a unique email. Update your EWEB account to send verification codes to this address.
  • Customer-inbox forwarding: Keep your current email and set up auto-forwarding of EWEB verification emails to Nectar.
4

Update your EWEB account

Log in to EWEB > account or profile settings > update the email address for verification codes, or set up your forwarding rule.
5

Confirm in Nectar

Complete the MFA configuration step. Nectar triggers a test login to verify codes are arriving.

Alternative: Upload bills

If configuring email forwarding is not practical, you can always upload PDF bills directly.
